Day 1 Arrive Windhoek, Namibia
Upon arrival at Windhoek International airport, you are met by a Maxim Tours representative and transferred by road to your guest house.

Day 2 Windhoek / Waterberg Plateau
After breakfast embark on a beautiful journey through Namibia's wide-open landscape towards the Waterberg Plateau Park - renowned for its flamboyant red sandstone formations and lush green vegetation. Our exclusive campsite provides a shady refuge situated under a canopy of trees. Enjoy a late afternoon walk and sundowners on top of the Waterberg.
Day 3 Omboroko Mountains
After an early morning walk on the Waterberg Plateau followed by a wholesome breakfast, continue to Okonjima - nestled in the unspoiled beauty of the Omboroko Mountains. This family-run lodge is known for its peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Okonjima is home to the Africat Foundation - a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and protection of Namibia's threatened cats. You may also enjoy various walking trails including a guided San (Bushman) trail, and excellent home cooked meals are served indoors or outside around a fire.
Day 4 Etosha
Continue along country roads to our exclusive campsite at the private Fischer's Pan Game Reserve - bordering the eastern perimeter of the world-renowned Etosha National Park. In addition to its prime and secluded location, our campsite is beautifully situated on the edge of a small vlei where a variety of game, including leopard, roam at will. Enjoy an afternoon game-drive in the Namutoni area.
Day 5 Etosha
Spend the day game-viewing in Etosha National Park. The Etosha Pan, meaning "Place of Dry Water", is a vast, dry shallow depression of shimmering mirages. Experience spectacular game-viewing along the southern edge of the Pan where numerous waterholes attract an abundance of mammal and bird species.
Day 6 Etosha
Game-viewing in the Park on your way to Ongava - situated on the southwestern border of the Park. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7 Damaraland
After an early morning game-drive continue to our private campsite in southern Damaraland - situated between the Ugab and the Huab rivers. Damaraland's unique attractions include a wealth of rock paintings and engravings, fascinating geological formations, diverse wildlife, and variety of desert flora and fauna. Visit the San (Bushman) rock paintings and engravings at nearby Twyfelfontein - thought to be the work of hunter-gatherers who lived in the area thousands of years ago - and enjoy a late afternoon stroll amongst the boulders and kopjes.
Day 8 Damaraland
Spend the day exploring Damaraland at the Etendeka concession - 45,000 hectares of rocky semi desert, home to black rhino, desert-adapted elephants, Hartmann's mountain zebra, oryx, ostrich and several endemic bird species. Enjoy a late afternoon stroll and sundowners overlooking Damaraland's magnificent rugged scenery.
Day 9 Swakopmund
Continue to the coast and Cape Cross, home to more than 80,000 Cape Fur Seals. Hedged by the desert and the wild Atlantic, Swakopmund is Namibia's premier seaside resort, resembling a Bavarian village with its numerous 19th century buildings. Swakopmund offers old world charm, a relaxed atmosphere and a host of activities. Your accommodation is at the four-star Swakopmund Hotel & Entertainment Centre, and dinner will be enjoyed at a local seafood restaurant.
Day 10 Swakopmund
Depart on a seal and dolphin cruise at 8:30am, passing Walvis Bay harbor, fishing factories and Russian trawlers, and then on to Bird Island and Pelican Point. Fresh oysters, champagne and snacks are enjoyed at the seal colony where dolphins may join the fun around the boat. Spend the afternoon at leisure enjoying a variety of optional activities such as quad biking or a scenic flight over the dunes and coast.
Day 11 Sossusvlei
Continue to Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge situated in the heart of the Namib Desert on the NamibRand Nature Reserve. NamibRand is renowned for its captivating beauty and diversity of landscape which changes from expansive gravel plains to undulating dune seas and rugged canyons. Spend one overnight at Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge in a luxurious air-conditioned desert villa. Experience the area's diverse range of desert-adapted flora and fauna on guided nature walks and hiking trails, and explore the dunes by ATV. At night, discover the magnificence of the desert sky from the Lodge's sophisticated observatory.
Day 12 Namib Desert
Depart early for an excursion to the awe-inspiring dunes at nearby Sossusvlei - the highest dunes in the world. After lunch, continue to the Namib Naukluft Park. Our exclusive campsite is surrounded by the huge Naukluft Mountains, flanked by sheer cliffs, deeply incised river valleys and rolling hills, which are a sanctuary for Hartmann's mountain zebra, oryx, springbok and kudu.
Day 13 Namib Naukluft
Set off by 4x4 as far as the plateau to explore one of the most pristine gorges in the Naukluft. The rest of the journey is on foot as you hike through the gorge with its many quiver trees and rock pools - large enough to cool off in. An optional late afternoon activity is horseback riding at a nearby guest farm.
Day 14 Depart
After breakfast return to Windhoek airport.

Day 1 Arrive Windhoek, Namibia / Skeleton Coast
We meet at Eros Airport, Windhoek at 10:00am for departure to the Skeleton Coast. The Kuiseb canyon and adjoining red dunes are a spectacular view from the air. The flight includes an aerial view of the famous Eduard Bohlen shipwreck at Conception Bay. After landing and refuelling at Swakopmund, we continue with a low-level flight north along the Skeleton Coast past the seal colony at Cape Cross for a light picnic lunch near the beach. After lunch, we cross the desert by aircraft to the Ugab formations, a nearly lifeless 'moon landscape' of numerous black ridges in stark contrast to the white desert floor. From here we proceed to our Kuidas camp in the Huab River Valley where we stay for the night. Ancient rock engravings are found amongst the rocks within walking distance of the camp.

Day 2 Skeleton Coast
After breakfast we depart by Land Rover to explore the colorful red lava, yellow sandstone and diversity of flora and fauna of the Huab River environs. We have lunch at Kuidas camp before flying along the coast to Terrace Bay in the Skeleton Coast Park. The most prominent shipwrecks along this part of the coast are the Montrose and Henrietta.
After breakfast we depart by Land Rover to explore the colorful red lava, yellow sandstone and diversity of flora and fauna of the Huab River environs. We have lunch at Kuidas camp before flying along the coast to Terrace Bay in the Skeleton Coast Park. The most prominent shipwrecks along this part of the coast are the Montrose and Henrietta.

Day 3 Skeleton Coast
After breakfast we embark on a scenic drive along the Hoarusib Valley to visit a settlement of the nomadic Himba people. This fascinating tribe have kept their ethnic individuality and culture in the seclusion of desert life. During our travels, we might be lucky enough to come across the desert-dwelling elephant that frequent this valley. From here, we continue north along the Skeleton Coast by aircraft to the Kunene River acting as a border to Angola. The Kaiu Maru shipwreck from old sailing vessels lie scattered along this part of the coast. From the airfield, we take a scenic drive by Land Rover to our lunch site. After lunch, we continue through the mountains and dunes of the Hartmann Valley reaching our Kunene River camp in the late afternoon.

Day 4 Depart
Enjoy an early morning boat trip on the Kunene River, observing bird life and possibly some crocodiles. After lunch at the camp, we fly back to Eros Airport, Windhoek, arriving in the late afternoon.
