Day 1 Arrive Nairobi, Kenya
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are met by a Maxim Tours representativeand transferred to your hotel. Located in the suburbs of Nairobi, Giraffe Manor, exclusive, spacious and elegant, is the only place in the world that you can feed giraffe from your second floor bedroom window, over the lunch table, and at the front door.

Day 2 Samburu
After an early breakfast, you are transferred to Wilson airport for your flight to Samburu, located in Northern Kenya. You are met at the airstrip and will enjoy game viewing en route to the camp. Samburu's rugged, semi-arid landscape is known for its rare game - Somali ostrich, Grevy's zebra, gerenuk, reticulated giraffe and Oryx. Your accommodation is a small, luxurious, tented camp set in lush lawns on the bank of Uaso Nyiro River.

Day 3 Samburu Game Reserve
Morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve. You may also opt for a visit to a local village for a fascinating look at the culture of the Samburu people.

Day 4 Samburu/Maasai Mara
After breakfast depart for the airstrip for your flight to the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You are met off your flight and are transferred to the lodge. Enjoy lunch and an afternoon game drive. Intimate in character, your camp has just 17 tents tucked around a large watering-hole that teems with animal and bird life.

Day 7 Maasai Mara / Amboseli National Park
After breakfast depart for the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi After lunch your private guide will drive you to Amboseli National Park, with a game drive en route to your lodge. Home to over a thousand elephants, herds of wildebeest, lions and over 300 species of birds, Amboseli is an exciting and diverse game viewing destination. Activities range from early morning and late afternoon game drives, horse-back riding to guided game walks (outside the Park). Alternatively you can laze around the pool with a cocktail enjoying the African scenery.

Day 9 Amboseli / Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast depart to Tanzania, via Namanga border. After clearing customs, you will stop for lunch in Arusha. Afterwards, you will drive to Ngorongoro Conservational Area. The Ngorongoro Crater is an African Eden, teeming with 30,000 wild animals, including black rhino, elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, cheetah, hyena, zebra, wildebeest, warthog, hippo, Thomson's gazelle, eland and reedbuck. The gigantic depression is a 12-mile (19km) wide volcanic crater, ringed with towering walls and sheltering forests, grasslands, fresh springs and a large lake. The lodge lies within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8,000km2.

After breakfast depart with lunch boxes for your camp in Northern Serengeti National Park. Enjoy game viewing en route. Your camp, which overlooks the Grumeti River, is located in the path of the migratory route of the Serengeti wildebeest, offering one of the world's most spectacular wildlife shows.

After breakfast, depart with lunch boxes and drive to Lobo Airstrip for your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight to Nairobi. You will then be taken to the Carnivore Restaurant for farewell dinner before being dropped at Jomo Kenyatta airport for your outbound international flight.

Today you depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. After lunch at your lodge, you will go out on an afternoon game drive. Enjoy a comfortable stay in a tented camp that consists of 40 Hemingway-style safari tents shaded by dense forest canopy.

Day 2 Meru National Park
This morning you will be collected and transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Meru National Park. Upon arrival you will be met by a driver/guide and taken to the lodge. Made famous by the film "Born Free" and George Adamson's lions, the lodge and its 9 cottages are invisible to the eye as you approach the kopje (hill). Settle in and relax by the swimming pool before lunch. After an early afternoon siesta at the poolside or on your own panoramic verandah, enjoy an extended afternoon game drive.

Day 3 Meru National Park
Take an early morning guided walk in the bush to work up your appetite or take an extended game drive with picnic breakfast to explore the many rivers transecting the Park. You may come across basking Hippo's and Crocodiles and many other animals before returning to the lodge for lunch. Late afternoon game drive with sundowners in the Park.

Day 4 Laikipia
Leave Elsa's Kopje on your private charter and fly across to Loisaba. Loisaba Lodge and the Starbeds are set in 60,000 acres of wilderness within a private conservancy area. This stunning lodge clinging to the edge of a 500 foot escarpment, has unsurpassed views which defy description. After lunch, you could spend the early afternoon at leisure or perhaps enjoy a gentle bush walk followed by a late afternoon game drive with sundowners.

Day 5 Laikipia
Early morning breakfast followed by a game drive searching for Lions, perhaps you may encounter the rare Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich, Gerenuk and Grevy's Zebra. Alternatively, you may wish to take a gentle horse ride along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Return for lunch by the swimming pool. Choose from a host of activities for the afternoon including tennis, mountain biking, walking, game driving or simply relax and be pampered in the spa. This evening you have the option to sleep in one of the amazing Starbeds - raised wooden platforms with 4 poster beds, en-suite bathrooms and dining room fully hosted by the Samburu - overlooking the river or the Elephant bathing waterhole can be arranged. The Starbed platforms have no walls or ceilings and provide blissful sleep under the huge celestial African sky.

After breakfast a short transfer by road brings you to Sabuk Lodge overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro river. Traditionally a base for camel safaris, the owners have transformed their beautiful home into a luxurious retreat overlooking the wild rocky terrain of the Northern Frontier District. A cool refreshing dip in the effervescent river right below the lodge is encouraged.

Day 7 Laikipia
The day will be spent walking with and/or riding a camel on safari. Your guide and professional crew of Samburu warriors will accompany you and set up a fly camp for 1 night along the dramatic gorges of the tumbling Ewaso Nyiro River. The trek is easy and great for inquisitive individuals wishing to learn more about the bush and its natural inhabitants at close quarters.

Day 8 Laikipia
Set off in the cool early morning for a walk or ride with camels. Led by a professional safari guide and his team, the walk takes you across the hills with glimpses of the winding river below. Brunch is under the acacia trees. Take an afternoon swim in a natural rock pool. Return to Sabuk Lodge for campfire sundowners and dinner.

Day 9 Maasai Mara
After an early breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your private charter to Nanyuki where you will connect with the scheduled flight to the Maasai Mara, one of Kenya's most famous wildlife havens.
