Itinerary:

Saturday, October 4
Arrive in Buenos Aires after an overnight flight from the U.S.A.  Transfer to Loi Suites Recoleta, a beautiful first class boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Afternoon city tour.
Welcome dinner at the “Happening” in the lively Puerto Madero district. (D)

Sunday, October 5
Our afternoon guided tour of Historic Bars & Cafes (including a trendy one!) concludes with a one hour tango lesson.  This evening, dinner and a tango show at Esquina Carlos Gardel, Buenos Aires’ world famous supper club. (B/D)

Monday, October 6
Full day in the pampas at Estancia la Alameda including entertainment and an asado (Argentina BBQ) prepared by the gauchos. (B/L)

Tuesday, October 7
Fly to Salta and drive south to Cafayate for 2 nights at the charming Cafayate Wine Resort.  Afternoon winery tour. (B/D)

Wednesday, October 8
Day at leisure to enjoy the activities of the wine estate – hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, etc. (included). (B/D)

Thursday, October 9
Drive north to Purmamarca and stay 2 nights at Manatial del Silencio, at the foot of the Hill of Seven Colors, and in the heart of the gorgeous red rock country. En route we will stop at the House of Jasmines for lunch, the wine estate owned by the actor Robert Duval. (B/L/D)

Friday, October 10
Full day tour of Humauaca Gorge with picnic lunch.  An ancient Inca route and a UNESCO site, the gorge is the perfect combination of spectacular landscape and archaeological richness , (B/L/D)

Saturday, October 11
Fly from Salta to Mendoza.  Overnight 2 nights at Cavas Wine Lodge. (B/L)

Sunday, October 12
Half day wineries tour. Farewell dinner at Club Tapiz. (B/D)  

Monday, October 13
Afternoon flight from Mendoza to Buenos Aires.  Check in for overnight flight back to the U.S.A. (B)
